Configure DLink Access Point

1.    Connect LAN cable from port at Access Point (AP) to your PC

1    2.  Set IP address at your PC 

           a.       IP address : 192.168.0.50

           b.    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

             c.       Default gateway : 192.168.0.50

3.       Insert default IP address AP at your browser

              a. IP 192.158.1.50.

        4.       Insert username and password :

a.       Admin

b.      Admin

            

        5. Wireless Setup

             a.       Set wireless name (SSID)

             b.      Wireless chanel (make sure the channel not clash with other one)

        

          

        6.       Set wireless security

       

       7.       Configure wireless security

   

       

             8.       Done..


            
    
            Configure Repeater

         1. Repeat step 1 – 4 at above
           2. Setup
                a. Wireless Mode : repeater

    
          

          

     

           3.       Press at Site Survey to find AP
   
                 

           

            4.       Select AP and Connect

                      

           

      

             5.       SSID change after select AP

       

Save & Quit.......

Done........

To determine ip in same group

Look at subnetmask is 0 so network in range 1 – 254

Example : 192.168.1.2 ping  192.168.10.10

                   255.255.0.0             255.255.0.0

result = reply

when subnet 255 network must same number

1)      Melakukan pengubahsuaian dan penambahbaikan rangkain  bilik  pentadbiran KISMEC

2)      Penambahbaikan  telefon dan data di dalam bilik pentadbiran.

3)      Melakukan kekemasan di bilik pentadbiran.

Sebelum membuat pengubahsuaian bilik :

Kerja-kerja yang kami lakukan seperti :

1)      Tambah splitter untuk mendapatkan 1 line yang sama dalam 2 telefon(voice)

2)      Membuat jack untuk mempelbagaikn  fungsi. Contoh  jadikan perantaraan kabel rj45 dan rj11.

3)      Membuat penambahan kabel simpanan sekiranya ada  penambahan telefon atau komputer.

4)      Membuat kekemasan pada setiap kabel yg ada.
